Wrestling News for July 27, 2011

• WWE Diva Maryese has went to court in Los Angeles to obtain an order of protection against 61 year old Lee Silber who Maryese claims has been stalking her and sending letters and voice mails that have left Maryese "fearing for her life." According to gossip site TMZ Silber had reportedly offered to give Maryese money and a diamond ring to prove he is a friend to the former WWE Woman's Champion. Maryese has been romantically linked to The Miz and has had photos appear in Playboy magazine.
•  Recently married Madusa, a former WWE and WCW Women's Champion as well as The Rock are talking about writing a book on their wrestling exploits. For The Rock this would be his second novel.
• Necro Butcher, Mickey Rourke, Sid Vicious and Ted DiBiase will be signing autographs at the Collector's Realm in Poughkeepsie, New York on August 21. You can learn more by visiting the website here.
• Friend of the show Paradyse recently won the OVW Television Championship so congratulations to him.
• Stan Hansen, JJ Dillion, Tony Atlas and Lou Thesz all have excellent books available at Crowbar Press. Friend of the show Jimmy Valiant also has an excellent book available here.
• Hulk Hogan will be presenting Micro Championship Wrestling on TruTV on September 14 for a six episode run.
• Speaking of a waste of time, Eric Bischoff and Jason Hervey will have another TV debacle debut on TruTV as well when they present "Bear Swamp Recovery" on August 22, 2011.
• Max and Jeremy Buck, long of Generation Me, have responded to Rob Van Dam's claims that the younger stars did not show respect to the veterans by saying "we always showed him respect and if anything he did not show us any by changing in his own locker room."
• Adam Cole and Kyle O'Reilly have signed with ROH and the group is gearing up for what should be an interesting return to TV in September.
• "And Then The Bell Rings" featuring PWO star Gregory Iron will be on this site later today. Iron was recently put over by WWE Champion CM Punk and is riding the wave.
• Jack Evans, recently of the Destination X PPV offered by Impact Wrestling, has reportedly turned down an offer to join the company because the money was not right.
• Speaking of Impact Wrestling, many outlets continue to call the company TNA after the re-brand. 
• Matt Morgan will be out for six to eight weeks with a torn pectoral muscle.
• Ric Flair and his status with Impact Wrestling is tenuous at best right now. After incidents during an overseas tour and most recently at house shows in New York, Flair is though to be on his way out. Being the highest paid member of the roster and not being used on TV is a clear sign that something is amiss. 
• A CM Punk shirt, "Best in the World" which was reportedly selling on ebay for $500.00 or more is available from the WWEShop for $24.99.
• Former WWE Diva Tammy "Sunny" Sytch is looking better than ever in a series of photos available here.
• Santino Marella suffered a broken nose for those who were worried about him
• AIW wrestling will present "Girls Night Out 4" on July 29, 2011 in Lakewood, Ohio at the AIW Arena. This show is always a good time and features some of the best lady wrestlers in the business. You can learn more by going here
